GIRLS IN RED: BALM
Jeanne's signature is her red lips, but especially her way of doing her makeup which has taken the "perfect imperfect" out of its inhibitions (since then, I've let myself go with the "finger blurring" which leaves no clear lines). Rouge or... Rouje! The name of her fashion brand, but also a line of lipsticks which I have already told you about:
Faced with the success of makeup, Jeanne decided to create her own entity for her beauty brand which is now separate from the fashion line: Les Filles en Rouje !

The Balm is a tinted lip balm available in 3 shades:
- BB , the Nude "à l Brigitte Bardot": very very beautiful old pink
- Cheri , the Plum: a perfect plum
- Chouchou , the Red: poppy red
Colors are undeniably Jeanne's strong point, passionate about lipsticks she masters them to perfection. Besides, in my opinion "these shades!" .... that's why we go to look for reds at The Girls in Red . But let's also talk about objective criteria other than my perception of colors (which I love :).

The 1st Les Filles en Rouje lip balm as desirable as an iconic lipstick, for lips tinted with custom intensity, more beautiful day after day. A balm with a dual function: color and care, which moisturizes, nourishes and protects the lips. The formula, composed of up to 99% ingredients of natural origin, allows for custom use, going from a lightly colored veil from the first application, to intense coverage on the third pass
PACKAGING & PERFUME
The Balm comes in the exact same retro gold tube as the brand's classic Lipstick.
I can't tell you about a truly luxury item because to be one it lacks in my opinion more "heaviness" (quality of the metal), a magnetic closure, the possibility of recharging, the signature on the grape. But it remains quality!
On the other hand, there is a small "game changer" detail at the level... a taste ! As much as it is not perfumed, as much if we pass the tongue on the lips we take away with us a small piece of "pastry". The product was designed to be sensory and it is successful.
TEXTURE & APPLICATION
The texture is effortless (no need to press the grape), but I can't call it "melting". Here, you have the "semi-matte" effect more easily - kissed lips - just "syrupy lips", you see?
On the other hand, by applying a few layers you can obtain the "juicy lips" effect.
The application is intuitive, you don't even need a mirror. Its fine texture forgives imperfections in the contour very easily, so there's no pressure to apply it.
PIGMENTATION & FINISH
For a lip balm it is rather very well pigmented! Logical, Jeanne likes the color :) The finish is semi matte in one coat, a little glossier in 2-3 passes, but never "lacquer". It is a real semi-matte tinted balm.
COMFORT & FIT
It is a lip balm first and foremost so comfort is the main criterion. Despite this finish that I describe as semi-matte, the product is comfortable enough, but it is not a real "lip care".
The hold is correct, it does not smudge and disappears evenly.

Indeed, a very nice surprise! A formula that is practically 100% natural, on a "Neutral Oil + Castor Oil / Sunflower Wax" base. It lacks a little hyaluronic acid for total happiness, but I forgive the overall view. No but seriously, I am really very pleasantly surprised: a list of ingredients that will suit organic addicts and pregnant women very well (short, natural formula, no essential oils).
